Career Exploration Program

Career Exploration Program

This holistic career exploration program helps students build self-awareness of their strengths and natural abilities, bridge that awareness to the latest research in workplace culture and hiring trends, and directly connect with employers to help students feel more confident in their post-graduation plans. Our approach supports the entire career exploration ecosystem, including students, teachers, employers, and parents.

The program can be implemented throughout six in-class or after school sessions or as a one-day event.

Goal: Students will learn about the changing nature of the workplace, the value of work to society, and the connection of work to achieving personal goals. (NYS Career Development Standard 1)

  • Young adults will have the opportunity to complete a comprehensive personality assessment that aligns them to jobs of the future with 94% accuracy.
  • This tool sets the foundation for unlocking the vast amount of career opportunities that exist for all levels of a student’s competencies.

90 Minutes (In-person)

  • Our Executive Director will educate the participants on how to read their report that describes in detail the individual’s preferred career behaviors and the unique motivation that will drive them to identify fulfilling and rewarding career pathways.
  • Armed with knowledge about their unique skills, interests, and the requirements for a post pandemic job, each student will be given the time to consider career options. It’s important to remember, everyone’s career path is different, and there is no “right” way to start a career.

60 minutes

*This session can be selected as a stand alone as well

  • Before finalizing any decisions, the students will get an opportunity to learn from role models from different industries about career and educational options after high school.
  • Experts will provide students with personalized orientation sessions with Q&A to help them understand jobs that will serve them now and into the future in Technology, Medical, Manufacturing, Construction and Marketing.
  • As an adjunct to our in-person training, everyone will receive access to our proprietary online career course.
  • A self-paced tool that reinforces all the learned material through video, animation and hands on activities.
